The Southern Section of CAMWS meets in alternate years in a Southern state when the CAWMS annual meeting is scheduled in a northern state. The American Classical League held its 60th Annual Meeting 28-30 June 2007 in Nashville TN at Vanderbilt University. The 61st Annual Institute will be held at the University of New Hampshire at Durham June 27-30, 2008. Call for papers is past.

The American Philological Association 139th Annual Meeting was held 3-6 January 2008 in Chicago, IL. The 140th meeting will be held January 8-11, 2009, in Philadelphia, PA. Deadline for individual abstracts is May 14, 2007.
SC Chapter of the Archaeological Institute of America
