CAMWS 2008 and CAMWS Southern Section 08

The Classical Association of the Middle West and South will hold its 2008 meeting April 17-19 in Tucson, AZ at the invitation of the University of Arizona. The call for papers is past. For more information, visit their website.

The Southern Section of CAMWS meets in alternate years in a Southern state when the CAWMS annual meeting is scheduled in a northern state. The 2008 meeting will be held at the invitation of the University of North Carolina at Asheville November 13-15. Paper proposals are due June 1, 2008. For more information, click here.

Amercian Classical League 61th Annual Institute

The American Classical League held its 60th Annual Meeting 28-30 June 2007 in Nashville TN at Vanderbilt University. The 61st Annual Institute will be held at the University of New Hampshire at Durham June 27-30, 2008. Call for papers is past.

The South Carolina Historical Association held its annual meeting on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the South Carolina Archives and History Center, 8301 Parklane Rd., Columbia.

American Philological Association (APA) Annual Meeting

The American Philological Association 139th Annual Meeting was held 3-6 January 2008 in Chicago, IL. The 140th meeting will be held January 8-11, 2009, in Philadelphia, PA. Deadline for individual abstracts is May 14, 2007.

SC Chapter of the Archaeological Institute of America
